Can't believe that my first post of 2010 was about the Burj Dubai...

The Burj Dubai

I've always had a fascination with architecture, building things, etc. It's probably what I should've done with my career...but that's another conversation. Regardless, the tallest structure in the world (by over 300m) opens today in Dubai, and I was reading a little bit on it last night. There are many interesting facets of this, but a couple that are quite scary are the fact that at the top of the spire, this bldg can sway up to 5ft...and the very top exterior will have to be cleaned by actual window washers! What! I'm nervous even reading that.
