Snow week pics

I never got these up, but we had the biggest snow in 15 years the 2nd week of January.  About 4" of snow, followed by freezing rain, followed by a week's worth of freezing temps caused Atlanta to literally shut down for almost a full week.  What a mess it was...

Having enough of the snow, we decided to bolt a night early to Destin, as we were already planning on going for a long weekend.  We were able to get out fine for the most part, other than some really bad traffic (2 hours to get to Newnan).  It was a long trip, but a great weekend!

Lil' Pete, at almost 11 weeks, slept through the night on both Fri and Sat nights.  Last night, he slept til 4 a.m., after sleeping pretry much since 2 that afternoon.  So, we're getting closer!

Ben & Sarah are off to the hospital!

It's been a long journey, but Ben and Sarah are very close to welcoming their first child into the family!  We are quite excited for them, and can't wait to meet the newest cousin for Emilie and Pete!

Pete went to the Dr. today for his 2mo checkup.  He's 9 weeks old today, and is growing up!  He weighed just over 13lbs, and got his TDAP and other fun shots that I don't think he enjoyed too much.  He's still not sleeping through the night, but is getting more adjusted to it every day.  He's a great little baby though...almost never cries.  He's gotten very good at tossing out smiles these days too!  Needless to say, we love those.

Update...as of 10:47 p.m., Ben and Sarah are the very proud parents to Anna Struthers Edwards!  Little Anna took a while to get here but finally made it, and is healthy and happy.

House renovations coming?

We are in the process of possibly renovating our downstairs to allow for a much more open floor plan, and make use of the wasted space that is currently the dining and living room.  In doing that, I took some photos of our current house, that I thought I'd put up there.
